About Harbor Light Bay

Harbor Light Bay is a subdivision located along the shores of Carlyle Lake in Carlyle, Illinois. It consists of privately owned lots that are zoned recreational. Golf carts are a way of life in the Harbor Light Bay community and it is a great way to meet your neighbors! You will see lots of people barbecuing and making their favorite dishes. Summer evenings usually consist of people sitting outside by their campfire, along with neighbors and friends. It's not unusual to see people driving their golf carts around, and joining others at their campfire.

This is a great place for people that love the outdoors to relax. It's a wonderful place for retired people. and a great place for weekend getaways. Fitness enthusiasts will run, jog, walk, hike and swim to get some exercise and enjoy the scenic routes.

Harbor Light Bay has a really beautiful sandy beach. The beach is roped off for swimmers safety; perfect for kids to have a fun filled day at the beach. You can use your sand castle skills and make prize winning sand castles for everyone to see. Every Spring we have a community beach clean up day. We ask for volunteers help to keep the beach beautiful. We want to keep the beach clean all summer long so please pick up after yourself.

The closest town to Harbor Light Bay is Keysport, IL, where you will find a public boat dock and public beach. Hazlet campground also has some boat docks. Keysport also has some restaurants and a gas station. You can always count on some great food at the Keysport, IL restaurants.
